In our project - Theory of Variation on the basis of an open digital edition of the Greek New Testament, C3-21 of the Cluster of Religion and Politics and the Institute for New Testament Textual Research - we are examining the emergence of variation in the textual tradition of the New Testament.

In order to have the possibility to search through the text of Acts and its variants, we are working on a tool. We are in the process of tagging the text of Acts including the apparatus morphologically. The tool then will enable the user to search for certain words and forms, and also places of change concerning certain phenomena in the text.
