GC: The a attestation is broad and includes the majority. 03 is an indirect witness to a. The d attestation is incoherent with 05 and 032 as the earliest witnesses.

TP: The connection of ἀθετεῖτε with ἵνα στήσητε (variant d) forms a sharper contrast and is probably secondary. Metzger reports that the committee saw the probability that τηρήσητε was influenced by τὴν ἐντολήν τοῦ θεοῦ used shortly before.[1] This explanation is, however, implausible because the object of the subordinate clause, παράδοσιν, is separated from the predicate by only one word and is not otherwise used with τηρεῖν.[2]
