GC: The Greek attestation of the shorter reading consists of early A-related witnesses, with the exception of a Greek-Latin codex, 629. Here, as in many other cases, 629 follows the Latin (Vulgate) text. The Vulgate, the Ethiopic, and the Coptic tradition, except the Mesokemic, have the shorter reading.
TP: It is less likely that τοῦ Ἰσραήλ was omitted than that it was added for the sake of completeness.[1]
