Split a/d

GC: There are cores of A-related witnesses on either side, and incoherencies pointing from a to d and vice versa.

TP: The addition of the demonstrative seems natural, if one assumes that the meeting place is on the Temple Mount. It is easy to see, on the other hand, that the many endings in -ου in the immediate textual environment probably have led to the omission of τούτου more than once.[1]

[1]      Cf. Metzger (298). In addition, Metzger points to the possibility of a parallelization with τὸν τόπον τοῦτον in the following verse.

Would ancient scribes have known this, that the meeting took place on the Temple Mount (also considering that Jerusalem was destroyed in 70CE)? Perhaps it is the longer reading that is more difficult if scribes thought the shorter more clearly referred to the temple.
