GA L2378 aka "Codex Angus" has improtant new article to add to the bibliography as well as a full set of publically accessible images:

A Note on the Codex Angus and Its Use

By Doru Costache

12 Pages

2024, The Journal of Ecclesiastical History

Hefin:

Also comparing the pencilled foliation with another Kosinista ms (Ek. 220) suggests a connection with Vladimir Sis prior to L2378 passing into the hands of Adolf Diessmann. (cf. 220  f. 196  with Codex Angas f. 96)

GA L2378 has identical red "M.K." inside its back cover that was one key element in linking 220 to Kosinista.

Hello Hefin. Many thanks for your note. Yes, we were in touch with the University Library in Sydney about this manuscript and identified it as coming from Kosinitza Monastery last year. This is mentioned in our blog here https://ntvmr.uni-muenster.de/intfblog/-/blogs/how-many-greek-new-testament-manuscripts-are-there-really-the-latest-numbers and a video is linked which explains more.

The new images have already been added to the NTVMR. We suspect this MS is identical to L1246 (Kosinitza, 117) and have noted this in the VMR. Because we never had the exact folio count for L1246, a definite identification is impossible to make.

I wrote a longer message thanking for your info - sadly the system ate it. I'm going to briefer in my second attempt.

Thanks for all the pointers.  Great that you're clearly aware of Dr. Doru Costache's work and have been in comms with Sydney University.

NB there are three sets of images - the two sets in the VMR and an even more recent set of colour digital images available here: https://digital.library.sydney.edu.au/nodes/view/15143

Of the current VMR images  - there is a bit of a confusion triggered by a missing folio and a messy foliation - colour image 300 corresponds to b/w image 320 and there should be no slot for image 310 as folio 15 has been missing since prior to any attempt to photograph the manuscript (I suspect that it was already missing in the 1910's / 20's when the foliation marks were added).

For those in the know: I'd be interested to learn more about the alleged involvement of Vladimir Sis with respect to NT mss.

Thanks for the detailed look at the NTVMR images. I'll pass this along so that it can be fixed.
