Acts 17:12/18-32 reading c (ελληνιδων γυναικων ευσχημονων και ανδρων ουκ ολιγαι) is understandably marked "cf" because ολιγαι is feminine and therefore not congruent with γυναικων ευσχημονων και ανδρων. But why is reading d (ελληνιδων γυναικων των ευσχημονων ουκ ολιγοι) not also marked as "df", although ολιγοι is not congruent with the feminine antecedent γυναικων?

Reading d (and the others, regarding the masculine ολιγοι) is possible because, as BDF §134.2, states: "Feminine or neuter personal collectives standing in the plural may be continued by a masculine plural." Cf. Gal 1:22-23; Eph 4:17; Rom 2:14.

Thanks! BDF § 136.3 would also support this, although the given examples come from Revelation (5:6; 9:13-14; 11:4; 14:19; 13:11 vl., 14; 17:4 vl.): "The masculine is often substituted for the feminine or neuter". I guess other instances would be Rev 4:1, 7; 5:13; 17:3.
