An inconsistency taken over from a previous version in the variant ελεημοσυνην. There is no synoptic parallel for 6:1 as suggested by 'p)', but I guess the intention is a reference to the next verse. In line with the notation in e.g. 5:30, I guess that if a cross-reference is deemed necessary, it should take the form of (2) or (2, 3) .
